Our 16th meeting was scheduled for May 2020. With the COVID-19 pandemic surging, gathering restrictions coming into effect and many people being impacted being impacted financially by the pandemic, we made the decision to cancel our meeting. Instead we asked members to make a donation to their local food bank or favourite local organization and to let us know about their donation. We were happy to share that the group collectively donated more than $2,700 to local food banks. Many members also let us know that they had already reached out to local food banks or organizations to make donations when the pandemic hit - a great example of our caring group!
