PictureMeeting 3 presenters on behalf of Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge, Habitat for Humanity Haldimand County Chapter, and the Haldimand Pregnancy Care & Family Centre
It was an icy and snowy evening, but a group of women still managed to get together to make a difference in our community!  We heard from 3 local organizations and I think everyone learned something new about these great organizations in our community:
  • Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge
  • Habitat for Humanity Haldimand County Chapter
  • Haldimand Pregnancy Care and Family  Centre
Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge was the successful recipient of the group's donation, totalling $2,500. Hobbitstee cares for sick, injured, orphaned or displaced native Ontario wildlife, with the ultimate goal of returning them to the wild. Hobbitstee is an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization and also works with at-risk youth volunteers. You can learn more at www.hobbitstee.com
