Meeting 10 - November 13, 2018

Wow! 10 meetings already!  What a great experience this has been so far to bring 100 Women Who Care to Halidmand.

We heard presentations from Haldimand Norfolk Wellness & Resource Centre, the Shoebox Project and, Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue. The group selected Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue Center to make our donation - a total of $4,700. Part of this donation was used to rescue a horse now affectionately named "Lucky Leroy." (the spotted horse in photo below).

We were also joined by Krista from JustOne who set up a display of JustOne jewelry. She shared a bit about Just One - an organization started in Haldimand that follows fair trade practices to offer world changing fashion.

Thank you to the Caledonia Lion's Club for donating their hall for us to use again and for staffing the bar.
