August 2020 - Meeting during COVID-19

100 Women Who Care Haldimand held our first virtual meeting on Zoom. We had over 35 participants and our three presenters join the call.  Without any technical difficulties we were able to follow our standard meeting format of a 5 minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of questions from members.  We used Zoom's polling feature so that everyone could vote for the organization to receive the group donation.  

Thank you to our presenters for being flexible with us an presenting virtually.  We heard from:
- United Way of Haldimand-Norfolk (Stuff the Bus Campaign)
- Haldimand Art Works
- Haldimand and Norfolk Women's Services

Our members chose to support United Way and collected $4,200 in donations for their Stuff the Bus Campaign.  

Thank-you to everyone who continues to keep this group going even during these uncertain times (I know - that phrase is overused, but it is so true!)
